Ep 73 - Lessons From a Leading Serial Entrepreneur
Some women just move and shake in a way that’s almost too impressive. Today’s guest is one of them, managing to start not one, not two, but three companies in her 20s. In this episode, Roxana Dantes shares the stories, lessons, and triumphs behind each of her companies, and how we can break free from old patterns. Roxana is an international serial entrepreneur and a 2017 Forbes 30 under 30 listee.
Hailing from a long line of doctors, Roxana Dantes knew all too well that some careers came with set, rigid pathways. While helping her parents care for their patients filled her with empathy and high ethical standards, Roxana knew she wanted to make a different type of impact.
This driving force would eventually take her out of Romania and across the world to the US and the UK. The challenges she faced, the people she met, and the lessons she learnt, combined to help her launch not one, now two, but three different companies.
In this episode, Roxana shares the stories, lessons, and triumphs behind each company she started. From wrangling with imposter syndrome, choosing the right co-founder, and breaking free from old patterns; Roxana tackles it all.
Roxana Dantes is the founder of The Lofty Lab, a tech lab focused on product and service innovation. Her first company was Equita Accelerator, a business accelerator dedicated to advancing women in technology. In 2016, she founded Orbis Learning, a new education model centred on ‘what’ and ‘how’ to learn in the automation era. Roxana was honoured on the 2017 Forbes 30 under 30 list.
