Nobody, not nobody, feels good when they don’t know what’s what.
It’s a natural human kink to do everything we can to make sure we know the who, what, when, where and why of our future. So, what if we told you today’s guest has learned how to hack uncertainty?
Filip Eldic is no stranger to relinquished control. Growing up in the conflict-zone of Croatia, and witnessing his parents struggle with economic uncertainty, his identity felt hard to self-map. Despite these life-shaping events, the most notable one came while he was cracking open a cold one with friends at the pub. Where the grandest of ideas have lived and died: at college bars, Filip’s love of Star Trek and sense of childlike wonder inspired him to hustle for a reality that’s truly out of this world.
Five years and a whirlwind trajectory later, Filip is now the Co-Founder of Bluedot, a company specialising in high accuracy location tech for mobile phones that deliver personalised engagement. In millennial terms, he basically invented ways for us to use GPS tech without draining our precious battery life. While many told him to keep dreaming, Filip has kept moving, even earning himself a coveted spot on the Forbes 30 under 30 list.
In this episode, Filip takes us candidly through his most uncertain times, his mastery of leadership and how he found the courage to keep moving forward.
