Quitting gets a bad rep. After all, no one wants to be known as a ‘quitter.’ But sometimes, calling it quits is more necessary than we think. In this episode, Marine Tanguy reveals what quitting is truly about, how we can navigate the haters, and how we can attract the best minds in the business. Marine Tanguy is the founder of MTArt Agency and a 2018 Forbes 30 Under 30 listee.

We’ve all heard the saying ‘winners never quit, and quitters never win’. Well, peers, after this episode, you may want to throw that mantra out the window.
Marine Tanguy’s childhood was far from conventional. From starting a babysitting service at 12 years old to becoming financially independent at 17, Marine has never been afraid to live life on her own terms.
It was this early hustle that helped Marine realise that quitting isn’t about failure – it’s about staying true to your own goals and principles.
Inspired by this epiphany, Marine quit two university degrees to unapologetically follow an unconventional path. This led her to manage an art gallery at 21, before flying across the globe to open her first gallery in Los Angeles at 23.
But Marine didn’t stop there. After recognising a need for a more accessible arts sector, Marine quit her job once again to set out and change the industry for good.
Now, Marine is the dedicated founder of MTArt Agency, the world’s first-ever talent agency for visual artists. Marine’s incredible work in transforming the arts sector has also landed her a coveted spot on the 2018 Forbes 30 Under 30 List.
In this episode, Marine reveals how we can redefine our ideas of quitting, navigate the haters, and gain the self-confidence to trust our instincts.
